The Dermot Hill Trophy is the cup competition open to clubs playing in the North East London Cricket League. Historically the tournament took the form of a 20-over knockout competition, however since season 2005 it has been played as a 6-over round robin 'festival of cricket'. The Trophy is named in honour of Dermot Hill, a founding member of the Hackney and Islington Cricket League, the predecessor of the North East London Cricket League.
